Job Description

We are looking for a hands-on Intermediate/Senior Quality Assurance Consultant to be a core contributor to a QA team with varied experience levels.

Experience

• • • 5+ years experience in an intermediate quality assurance role

    • Bachelor’s degree in a related field is an asset

    • Experience with SQL server and writing SQL queries

    • Knowledge in Azure DevOps (or similar), GIT, & Selenium webdriver

    • Experience with working with both Mac OSX and Windows systems

    • Experience developing/using test automation frameworks and test suites

    • Experience with test case management tools

    • Experience with creating test cases, test planning

    • Team lead experience is an asset

    • C# proficiency is an asset

    • Hands-on coding experience with a major programming language is required

    • Experience with continuous integration systems, continuous deployment

    • Experience in Agile Development / Testing Methodology

    • Solid understanding of software QA methodologies and QA processes

Responsibilities

• • • Implement our company’s QA best practices and processes

    • Be a core contributor to a QA team with varied experience levels

    • Review and analyze requirements and design documents

    • Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities

    • Create and execute both manual and automated tests

    • Perform code reviews

    • Analyze and manage existing bugs

    • Log new bugs effectively and clearly

    • Liaise with internal teams (developers, business analysts, project managers, product owners) as well as external clients

    • Advocate for test priorities in daily scrum and sprint planning meetings

    • Ensure comprehensive test coverage

    • Produce defect reports, status reports, test reports and other reports as required

    • Identify and investigate issues

    • Raise project issues to the development team in a timely manner

    • Raise process issues to the QA team in a timely manner

    • Other duties as required
